This Privacy Policy describes how Qayham (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the TradeJournal mobile application (the “App”). By using the App, you agree to this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.

1. Who we are

TradeJournal is a trading journal and daily profit & loss tracker. The App is published under the developer name Qayham. For privacy-related questions, contact us at parraybilal34@gmail.com.

2. Information we collect

We collect information you provide and data generated by your use of the App:

Account information

• Display name, email address, and profile photo (including when you sign in with Google)
• Account identifier assigned by our authentication provider
• Preferences such as currency and theme
• Subscription status (free or Pro), if applicable

Trading journal content

• Trade entries: dates, profit/loss amounts, number of trades, market type, notes, tags, psychology ratings
• Trading strategies you create or use
• Monthly goals and progress
• Personal journal entries and mood
• Trade screenshots and profile photos you choose to upload
• Data imported from CSV files you select on your device

Device and usage information

• App interaction events (for example, screens viewed and entries created), via analytics
• Crash and error reports to help us fix bugs
• Notification preferences and scheduled reminder settings you configure in the App
• Purchase-related information when you subscribe to Pro (processed by Google Play; we store subscription status)

3. How we use your information

We use collected information to:

• Create and manage your account and sync your data across devices
• Store and display your trading journal, analytics, calendar, and goals
• Provide Pro features such as cloud sync, CSV import, and extended storage
• Process in-app subscriptions through Google Play Billing
• Send local notifications you enable (for example, daily reminders)
• Improve reliability, security, and performance of the App
• Respond to support requests
• Comply with legal obligations

We do not sell your personal information.

4. How we store and protect data

When you sign in with a live account, your data is stored in Google Firebase services (Authentication, Cloud Firestore, and Cloud Storage) hosted by Google. Data is protected by industry-standard security rules so that only your authenticated account can access your documents and files.

We use reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

5. Third-party services

The App uses third parties that may process data according to their own policies:

• Google Firebase — authentication, database, file storage, analytics, and crash reporting
• Google Sign-In — optional sign-in with your Google account
• Google Play — app distribution and in-app purchases / subscriptions

6. Permissions on your device

The App may request permissions only as needed for features you use:

• Photos / gallery — to attach trade screenshots or change your profile photo
• Notifications — for optional reminders you enable
• Internet — to sync data and sign in

You can revoke permissions in your device settings; some features may stop working.

7. Data retention

We retain your account and journal data for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the App. If you delete content in the App (for example, a trade entry or strategy), it is removed from our cloud storage subject to normal backup and caching practices.

8. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have the right to:

• Access, correct, or update your profile in Account Settings
• Delete individual journal entries, strategies, and other content in the App
• Export data via CSV import/export features (where available)
• Request account or data deletion by emailing parraybilal34@gmail.com
• Withdraw consent for optional features (such as notifications) in device or App settings

We will respond to reasonable requests within a practical timeframe.

9. Children’s privacy

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us data, contact us and we will delete it.

10. International users

Your information may be processed in countries where our service providers operate, including facilities used by Google. By using the App, you understand that data may be transferred to and processed in those locations.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will post the revised version at this URL and update the “Last updated” date. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated policy.
