This Privacy Policy & Terms of Use explains how WhatsApp Gallery (the “App”, “we”, “us”, or “our”), developed by QAYHAM, handles information and how you may use the App. WhatsApp Gallery is an Android application that lets you browse, preview, organize, share, save, and manage photos, videos, and documents already stored on your device, including WhatsApp media that is accessible to the App.

1. Information We Collect

We do not collect, transmit, or store your personal information on our external servers as part of the App's core media-browsing functionality. Specifically:

• We do not require you to create an account or sign in.
• We do not collect your name, email, contacts, or location through the App's core functionality.
• We do not upload your photos, videos, documents, or other WhatsApp media to our servers.
• We do not use your media to build a personal profile.
• We do not sell your personal information or media.

If a future version of the App introduces a feature that changes what information is collected or shared, this policy will be updated as required and the relevant disclosures will be provided.

2. Device Permissions & Why We Need Them

The App requests Android permissions only as necessary to provide its features:

• Photos & Videos / Storage access (READ_MEDIA_IMAGES, READ_MEDIA_VIDEO, and, where applicable, All files access / MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE): used to locate and read WhatsApp media that is accessible on your device so the App can display, preview, and manage it. Access may also be used to save copies to your gallery when you explicitly request that action.

You can review or revoke permissions at any time in your device's Settings → Apps → WhatsApp Gallery → Permissions. Revoking access may limit the App's ability to show or manage your media.

3. Data Stored on Your Device

To provide faster browsing, the App stores certain information locally on your device only. This may include:

• Media index & thumbnails: local references to media and generated thumbnails used to make browsing faster.
• App settings: preferences such as theme, grid size, and other local settings.
• Purchase entitlement information: a local record used to determine whether an applicable paid feature has been unlocked.

This locally stored information is not intended to be transmitted to QAYHAM's servers.

Clearing App data or uninstalling the App may remove locally stored index, cache, and settings data. Clearing the media index or thumbnail cache does not restore media files that have already been deleted.

4. Media Deletion & Recovery

WhatsApp Gallery provides features that may allow you to delete media from your device. Any file you choose to delete should be treated as permanently deleted. Depending on Android and the storage location, the deletion may permanently remove the file from your device's storage.

WhatsApp Gallery does not provide a recycle bin, backup, cloud storage, or guaranteed data-recovery service for files deleted through the App. We do not guarantee that deleted photos, videos, documents, audio, or other files can be restored or recovered.

By using the delete feature, you acknowledge and agree that:

• Deletion is a permanent action and should be treated as irreversible.
• You are solely responsible for reviewing the selected files before confirming deletion.
• You are responsible for maintaining your own backup of any important media.
• To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, QAYHAM and WhatsApp Gallery are not responsible for loss of files resulting from your deletion action.
• WhatsApp Gallery should not be relied upon as a data-recovery, backup, or cloud-storage service.

Media deleted externally, including by WhatsApp, Android, another application, a file manager, or the user, may become unavailable to WhatsApp Gallery. The App cannot guarantee recovery of media that is no longer present or accessible on the device.

5. User Responsibility & Backups

You are responsible for the files and content stored on your device and for the actions you perform using the App. You should maintain independent backups of important photos, videos, documents, and other files.

Before deleting important media, you should verify that an independent backup exists. WhatsApp Gallery is not a substitute for a backup, cloud-storage, or professional data-recovery service.

6. Saving, Sharing & Opening Media

When you choose to save media, the App may copy the selected files to your device's gallery, such as a DCIM/WhatsAppGallery folder. When you choose to share or open media, the App may hand the file to another app that you select, such as a video player, messaging app, or email application.

These actions occur at your request. Once a file is provided to another application, that application's handling of the file is governed by its own terms and privacy policy. QAYHAM does not control how another application stores, transmits, processes, or shares a file after you choose to use that application.

7. Purchases

The App may offer optional in-app purchases to unlock paid features. Where Google Play Billing is used, purchases are processed by Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your full payment-card details through the App.

Payment and transaction processing is subject to Google's applicable terms and privacy practices. Purchase availability, pricing, taxes, refunds, and transaction records may be governed by Google Play and the laws applicable to your location.

8. Third-Party Services & Platforms

The App may interact with or depend upon Android, Google Play, WhatsApp, device manufacturers, media players, file-system services, and other third-party software or services.

• Google Play Billing — where applicable, for processing in-app purchases and restoring eligible purchases.
• Google Play Store — where applicable, when you check for updates, rate the App, or open the App's store listing.

QAYHAM does not control third-party platforms and is not responsible for changes, interruptions, outages, restrictions, compatibility issues, policies, or failures originating from third-party services or software.

9. No Warranty

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, WhatsApp Gallery is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis. We do not guarantee that the App will always operate without interruption, errors, crashes, delays, compatibility issues, security issues, or loss of functionality.

We do not guarantee that all WhatsApp or other media will always be detected, displayed, previewed, playable, accessible, saved, shared, or recoverable. Media availability may be affected by Android, device manufacturers, storage permissions, file-system changes, WhatsApp, operating-system updates, corrupted files, deleted files, device limitations, or third-party software.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, QAYHAM and WhatsApp Gallery shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or other losses arising from or relating to the use of the App, including loss of photos, videos, documents, files, data, or other information.

This includes losses associated with deletion, corruption, modification, inaccessibility, failure to detect or display media, device failure, storage failure, operating-system behavior, or actions performed by the user or third-party applications.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude, restrict, or limit any liability, right, warranty, or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded, restricted, or limited under the laws applicable to you.

11. User Conduct

You agree to use the App lawfully and not to use it to violate the rights of others, applicable laws, intellectual-property rights, privacy rights, or the terms governing third-party services.

You are responsible for ensuring that you have the necessary rights and permissions to access, copy, save, share, or otherwise manage media using the App.

12. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the minimum age applicable in their jurisdiction. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children through the App's core functionality.

13. Data Security

Because your media and locally stored App data remain on your device, their security is primarily governed by your device's own protections, including your lock screen, encryption, operating-system security, and permissions.

No storage system or software can be guaranteed to be completely secure. We recommend keeping your device, Android version, and installed applications up to date and using appropriate device security.

14. Privacy & Data Safety Disclosures

We aim to keep this policy accurate and consistent with the App's actual data practices and any applicable Google Play disclosures. If the App's data practices materially change, this policy and relevant store disclosures may be updated.

You should review the latest version of this policy and the information presented on the App's Google Play listing before using new features.

15. Applicable Laws & Consumer Rights

These Terms are intended to apply internationally. Your use of the App may be subject to the laws and consumer-protection requirements of the country or jurisdiction in which you reside.

Nothing in these Terms is intended to remove, restrict, or waive any statutory consumer rights, privacy rights, data-protection rights, or other legal rights that cannot lawfully be excluded or waived under applicable law.

Where mandatory local law provides rights or remedies that differ from these Terms, those mandatory rights and remedies will continue to apply.

16. Changes to This Policy & Terms

We may update this Privacy Policy & Terms of Use from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last updated” date. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect may constitute acceptance of the revised Terms to the extent permitted by applicable law.
